Amaryllis

So I received my Amaryllis in Oct 2014. Time went by, turned into 2015, nothing happened to my flower.

We moved in August 2016, and the bulb, now almost 2 years old, had not produced.

I thought I wait until the end of the year and see what happens if not it’s good bye bulb.

In mid December I see something green sticking out of the bulb and within 2 month I had 4 gorgeous flowers

The bulb has not yet stopped producing. Since the first flower I had 2 more in 217, then 2 growth spurs of 2 times four flowers in 2018, and the above is one of 2 times six flowers going on right now.

Morale of this story: Never give up! You just don’t know when it’s going to happen.
